It was Heiko’s birthday yesterday. And I wasn’t able to get to my computer. But today I found a minute (and a photo) and hiatus’ed my little hiatus ;)
Heiko is not only a master of b/w urban photography. He is also the commander of words. The supreme being of quotes. And the head chief of nerd-dom.
I cannot wait to see you again at the end of this month and to climb mountains, take photos, exchange words, and maybe… just maybe… drink one small beer (or five) with you.

As much as I tried Heiko @heterotopian, no White Tigers could be found on this day, but I think it is safe to say that White Admirals can be considered fierce too, don’t you? Being Tumblr’s undisputed top nerd and Time Lord and considering your predilection for MARVEL-lous, quotes from the MCU, in honour of your arrival day, I thought I would share a few of my own favourite quotes with you. The first goes hand in hand with the fact that your birthday falls on the weekend which means lots of extra timey-wimey for another stein or two or three which may very well have already resulted in some wibbly wobbly shenanigans, so:

The Tale of Two Cities According to Stephi and Heiko – Part 229
By the end of August/ the beginning of September school starts again in Germany. A little later university starts their new semester. But not only young people learning for their future start but also older (and younger people) want like to get some further education. Therefore we are having community colleges all over Germany, also in our respective cities (the first picture form Munich, the second from Cologne).
Here you have the opportunity to learn new languages, crafts you ever wanted to master, you can learn basics in IT and so much more. There is a lot of variety of subjects you can learn. Other offers include seeing historical sights in the area and so much more. Find out at your community college.
But beware the level of education can vary, as do the people who enter these courses. There are some people who go there for fun and very relaxed. And then there is usually one or two elder person, who takes it to the next level. That can mean that the person asks a lot of useless questions that have already been dealt with or is already deep into the subject that’s being taught. That person is often even more knowledgeable than the teacher but so annoying that you would like to gag him/her.
Community college can be real fun but also super annoying. Have you ever joined a class?
